Our three effects in our script all happen to Evie as she is the weird kid who tries to make friends with Olive as they seem to be on the same wave lenght. First of all Evie's eye changes colour and goes a mysterious colour to show something is going to happen, this is a extreme close up of when she's just about to look at olive. I tried this out on some raw footage and looked up how to do it step by step on a you tube tutorial.. The second special effect in our script is when Evie has a massive light bolt coming out from her hands to show Olive she's magic i also looked up on youtube a tutorial. The third effect in our script is when Evie's eyes flash green really quickly as she says "exactly".
All of these effects i found out how to do them is on youtube, there is lots of tutorails showing you step by step how to get the finishing effect on your own raw footage.
