Napoleon Dynamite Sequence

Our project was to make our own version of napoleon dynamite in groups. First of all we made a storyboard by watching the actual footage of napoleon dynamite, we also had the script with us and made a shot list which we wrote up the shot types (close up, long shot, middle shot). In the shot list we wrote down how many shots and what was in each shot. In the storyboard we drew up each shot with a description for it to then be easier when it came to us videoing our own version, this way it will also be very accurate. While drawing up our story board i think what went well was that it made it much easier to plan out in my head of what was going into what shot and what exactly needed to happen. I think i could of improved my drawing as it wasn't very clear and someone else trying to then video with using my storyboard may struggle.

I think working as a team is a really good thing because it makes things go a lot more smoothly and you tend to get things done with the more people, in my team i had three other people and that worked really well as we could have three people playing napoleon, pedro and the head teacher and then we also had a extra person to then film whereas some groups only had three people so they had to make do with trying to get all the roles done with less people. In my team we used two of our documentations as if one of us had missed out on something important hopefully having a back up would help us fill in what we needed. If i had to shoot again i would make our voices much louder so it was clear what all our characters were saying, in my video now some shots are hard to hear, maybe next time we could film the shots and then as an extra thing voice recored the script to then put over as a audio on premier.

These are my clips that i sorted out when they were uploaded to my laptop to then start editing on premier. I re-named all of my clips and then ticked whether they were good or not, when i had done all of that i then deleted which ones that weren't good so i wouldn't get confused when finding the clips i needed to start making my video. I named every clip with a shortened down description of what was in the shot and then put the shot number in front of it.
