Analysing Photos

In our photograph anamatic we had to take a still image on a camera of all of our shots. Some shots came out really good and made the shot look interesting but others were not the greatest of photos and could be changed to make our anamatic look much more effective. I've picked 6 images from my anamactic to write about the good and bad parts of the photos.

This photo is good because of the view point and it keeps the audience in focus and the diagonals of the chair and the book but the posters on the wall make it look scruffy and the radiator has no meaning therefore it shouldn't be in the shot.
This photo uses the rule of thirds which makes it a really good picture. Also the plain grey sky as the background and the silhouette of the tree in the third of the thirds really frames the shot. The photo isn't look because it's breaking the rule of the "space the move" as we don't know where the character is looking or could be looking at.
In this photo there is alot of space to move which is good as the audience will then know where the character in the foreground will be walking. The posters on the wall shouldn't  be in the shot and the background is boring, there also a tripod bag in the shot which is pointless and doesn't mean anything.
This photo uses the rule of third which works really well as one character is in the first third and the other character is in second third then there is no one in the third, third. The background of the shot is too busy with a brick wall, leaves, metal railing and wooden post, this could be changed simply by just taking the photo just on the brick wall.
This photo needs more depth as there is of space to look at and this is when the audience get distracted. All of the posters on the walls are too much and should of been taken down before the photo was taken. The lines of the walls and the bench are good and splits up with picture and where the characters are.
The background is really good in this photo as it's all the same but still simple. It's taken with the rule of thirds in mind again with the different characters. Unfortunately there is a bin in the shot which is meaningless and the characters hair in the foreground is taking up a lot of the photo, to improve this the character looking at the camera could of been moved to the right slightly.
